A new survey shows that buying cheap motorcycle parts is not the best way to save on repairs, according to a new report from a bike repair and parts store.
The survey of 3,000 people, which included information from insurance companies and retailers, found that only 22 percent of respondents reported using cheap motorcycle repair or parts to cover repairs, while 46 percent said they’d use a service such as a car repair.
When it comes to saving money, the survey found that buying a new bike was the most common way to cut your repair costs.
“There is nothing wrong with saving money to replace a broken front wheel,” said Dr. Christopher Smith, a clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington Medical School and lead author of the study.
“It is also very important to make sure you get the best value for your money when buying new motorcycle parts.”
The study also found that most of the respondents said they would never consider buying a used motorcycle.
Smith said the survey, which surveyed a nationally representative sample of 6,922 people, may not reflect the overall attitude of motorcycle consumers.
He said he expects that most people would prefer to buy a used bike rather than buying new, so the findings may not apply to everyone.
Still, Smith said it’s important to note that the survey’s findings show that the vast majority of people, regardless of age or health status, buy cheap motorcycle or bike parts to replace parts that have worn down, while most of those surveyed also would consider buying new parts to help keep their bikes and motorcycles running.

More than half of the survey participants said they had used a used wheel bearing to replace one that had worn out, while almost half of those who purchased used bike parts said the used parts were worth less than the new parts.
In addition, one-third of respondents said the price of the used bike was worth less because they could have replaced the broken wheel bearing.
Another issue that some of the participants expressed frustration with was the way bike shops and bike shops that specialize in repairs typically price their parts.
Smith said it was important to pay attention to the quality of the repair, not the price.
For example, he said it would be helpful if a bike shop offered free bike parts, but instead charged a fee for a repair.
The survey also showed that a large portion of the people who used cheap motorcycle repairs also said they planned to use a car to fix the issue.
The study found that a whopping 71 percent of people who said that they planned on buying new bike parts had purchased a used car to replace their broken wheel or other components.
Smith said that car repairs were generally not considered necessary for many people, and that a car might be a better option for those who have other needs.
“The vast majority who have bike problems can use their car,” Smith said.
“But if you have other medical conditions or you have any type of medical condition that makes it difficult to drive, then it’s best to get a car and get some help.”
