We’ve written before about how online bike repair is now easier than ever to access and use.
We’ve even got a handy guide to help you figure out how to use it to your advantage.
But when it comes to finding out if your repair and replacement needs are covered by the terms of your insurance, things get trickier.
The terms of an individual policy cover only the parts and accessories that you purchase and install.
However, if you have a group policy or a policy with multiple manufacturers, you may be able to find out about coverage for specific parts and the service they offer.
If you’re in this situation, you should contact your insurance company directly to find what they offer, or call them directly.
We’ll be covering all of this coverage, so be sure to get it before it’s too late!
Check out the terms and conditions for the specific motorcycle you want to repair.
Make sure to read them carefully, as there may be a charge if the repair is done without the necessary tools and parts.
The insurance company will tell you if the parts are covered, but the company might not have all the details or will just charge you a fee for a service that they’re not providing.
Once you’ve done your research, contact the repair and/or replacement company directly and ask them to fill out your claim form.
If they have a policy, they should send it directly to you.
If not, they can email you and you’ll need to fill it out manually.
Once the claim is approved and the claim form is received, you’ll have to fill in a few fields.
They’ll send you an email with the final form.
Make it quick.
Make the form very short and simple, and only fill in the questions that you think are important.
You don’t want to waste time on stuff that isn’t important.
Be sure to include all the important information, including a picture of the bike, and a description of what you need done.
Once you’ve completed the form, you can review it at the end and upload it to the repair or replacement company’s website.
If the repair doesn’t need the repair service, you’re done.
The best part about this process is that it’s entirely automated, so you don’t have to worry about having to call your insurance agent or wait for the insurance adjuster to send you the form.
You can submit the claim directly to the company, and they’ll process it in minutes.
Make your repairs and/ or replacements now.
If it doesn’t work out, they’ll send a letter explaining why, and you can call them back to find a solution to the problem.
